Welcome to C-Tech Performance LLC. We are a custom build machine shop. You will see as you browse our website
that we enjoy working on everything. Performance to Vintage, Marine to Diesel, Tractor to Import, Small engine to Race
and everything else. We got our start by taking on the projects that no one else wanted to do. We enjoy the challenge!

We have a roof, insulation and siding on the new addition. Its great being ahead of schedule. Lets see if they can keep it up!
Exterior doors should be here soon. Then we will add some heat to get the frost out of the ground. Pioneer Construction has been great to work with on our project. Thanks to Larry, Dan and crew. Completion date is set for June.
C-Tech is excited to offer additional services for our performance minded customers. Chassis Dyno, Chassis work, Custom Interiors, R & R Engines, Nitrous Fill Station and more. Check back as we update our progress!!
The new Rottler P-69 CNC 5 Axis Head Porting Machine is up and running. Currently we are digitizing a variety of heads. This is the time consuming process of writing programs for all of the different heads, which by the way is our goal, to offer CNC porting at an affordable price for any head. We had our advanced training last week and we put our trainer to the test. We started with a single cylinder, 4 valve, Honda motorcycle head to see how small a head with split runners the machine could do.
Then we switched to a 5.9 Cummings head. The two best extremes that we had in the shop. We now have both heads digitized. We have some refinement to do on the programs and then some work on the flow bench.
We will be cutting heads soon!! Pictures, videos, flow numbers, and pricing coming soon!!
As you can probably tell, you’re looking at the new and improved c-techperformance.com! Some of the new features you may notice is this “news feed” of sorts on the front page. We’re going to make a valiant attempt to keep this front page updated with all the latest news and info coming out of C-Tech. It’s our first attempt at blogging, so to speak, so bear with us. Here are some of the new features I’d like to highlight as part of the new site:
For those of you following project “Sledgehammer”, our 1972 Dodge Charger project, you may have first seen this car at the 2007 AutoRama in Grand Rapids. At that time everything was primarily mocked up for the show, even the engine.
Since then the chassis has been NHRA Certified to 8.50. The exhaust system fabricated, the chassis painted, the body fitted for the last time and bolted into place; most of the interior tin work is completed.
The engine machining and assembly has been completed and waiting its turn for the engine dyno. It has been waiting since early fall.
Of course there always seems to be 4 customer engines in front of it that have to be done first. We are hoping that during the winter slow time we can fit it into the schedule. We will post stats, pictures and video when that happens.
